Minimum Requirements

Maintenance Connection has been designed with the latest technology in web-based computing. 

Server Requirements 

Note: Server Requirements only apply to customers who are installing Maintenance Connection onsite (self-hosting)

Application Server

Minimum:          Pentium 4 / 2 Gigabyte (GB) of RAM memory
Minimum of 100 GB of available hard disk space 

Recommended: Duel Core Based Processor / 4 Gigabytes (GB) of RAM memory
Minimum of 250 GB of available hard disk space

Software Requirements 

Windows Server 2000 / 2003 / 2008 
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
WML/WAP Mime Types added to IIS (MRO Mobile Server Wireless Edition) Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 (MRO Mobile Server Offline Edition) 

Application Server can NOT reside on on a Windows Domain Controller Server. LDAP integration (optional Add-on) requires Active Directory / Windows NT Authentication

Database Server

Minimum:          Pentium 4 / 2 Gigabyte (GB) of RAM memory
Minimum of 100 GB of available hard disk space 

Recommended: Duel Core Based Processor / 4 Gigabytes (GB) of RAM memory
Minimum of 250 GB of available RAID hard disk space

Software Requirements 

Windows Server 2000 / 2003 / 2008

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 (Standard Edition)

Note: The Application Server and Database Server can be installed on a single server. It is recommended, however, that two servers be used when possible for increased security. Please see documents above for more information.

Client Requirements

MRO WorkCentre / Technician WorkCentre / Reporter Applications

Minimum: Pentium 4  1 Gigabytes (GB) of RAM memory
Internet Explorer 6.0+ 
1024 x 768 Screen Size / 96 DPI - Small Fonts 
(MRO WorkCentre / Reporter) 
800 x 600 Screen Size / 96 DPI (Technician WorkCentre)

Service Requester Application

Minimum: Pentium III 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM memory
Internet Explorer 6.0+, Netscape 4.7+ , Firefox 1.0+, Chrome 1.0+
800 x 600 Screen Size

Mobile Hardware Requirements

MRO Mobile Wireless Edition

Recommended:  Windows Mobile 5.0+ / WiFi 802.11 / Mobile Broadband
